Marcista (Kista) Northern-Bew was born and raised in South Bend, IN. At a young age, she was faced with many obstacles that many African-Americans families face on a daily basis. One of those obstacles was becoming a teenage mom. At the age of 15yrs, she gave birth to her first daughter, which was very challenging at times. Although she was forced to quit high school, she did not let that stop her from going back and pursuing her dreams for her future. She then graduated from Penn High School and is currently pursuing her nursing career at Lake Michigan College. Mrs. Northern-Bew now has 4 children that she absolutely adores, still juggles everyday life with working two jobs whilst caring for her babies. Although none of this would be possible without the loving support of husband Derek pushing her through those hard times that comes along. While helping others is what she loves to do, makeup and beauty is her true PASSION!
Quality and affordable lashes are major focuses for her as well as for her customers and she is always mindful of using cruelty-free products. These beautiful lashes and their unique names were inspired by her nickname "KISTA". She plans to take EyeKisses as far as it can go. Not, for just for her benefit but for every woman that is struggling in any aspect of life. She wants to show women everywhere that things happen, life happens but giving up and quitting is NEVER an option. No matter what your situation may look like God's promises still stand. No one can stand in your way or stop you...ONLY YOU. Keep GOING, Keep Pushing, Keep Praying, and NEVER QUIT.
